Welcome to my attempt at cataloguing photographs that I have taken over the years of steam engines. They do not profess to be in any logical order, but more or less as I have taken them. I naturally lean towards engines that were built in Swindon, but am not blind to what came out of other company workshops and some of these were very pleasing to the eye.
Eventually, I hope to visit every preserved railway in the UK at least once and photograph their motive power.
